Question: okay so heres the problem... A quadrilateral is a paralleogram if the diagnals bisect each other. Quadrilateral EFGH has vertices a E(-4,3), F(2,1), G(4,7) and H(-2,9). find the midpoint of each diagonol. is EFGH a parallelogram? explain? okay so could anyone help mee with the answer? thannks/| -Delilah

The diagonals of the quadrilateral are EG and FH. To find the midpoint, simply take the average of the two endpoints (both x and y). So, for EG: (-4,3) and (4,7), the average is (0,5) And, for FH: (2,1) and (-2,9), the average is also (0,5) Therefore, since the midpoints are the same point, the diagonals must bisect each other and EFGH is a parallelogram.

Always remember that what you do to one side of an equation in algebra, you must do to the other. For the problems you listed, all you need to do is divide the number from the variable on one side, and then do the same to the other side 3.2n = 0.96 divide both sides by 3.2 to get n = 0.3 doing the same thing for the other two produces n = 0.06 and n = 3

Take a calculator. You want N on one side of the equation, correct? So to get rid of the other number being multiplied with N, divide it out. That will leave you with N = 0.96/3.2, N = 0.042/0.7, and N = 9.63/3.21. You can do the math.
