Topic: Waking up early in the morning to do homework
May 23, 2019 / By Florinda Question:
I am a freshman in high school and I have to leave my house for school at 8 am and it usually takes me about an hour to get ready. So I usually wake up at about 7 am but I really need to get my workout done in the morning instead of in the evening due to sports and homework especially. In order for me to get my workout done in the morning I would have to wake up at 6 instead of 7. Any suggestions on how to get enough sleep before waking up?

I'm a sophomore in college and when I was in high school I always woke up at 6. You can work out then. Just go to bed earlier. Like around midnight at the latest. That's 6 hours of sleep minimum.
-another option is to just work out after school. That's also fine. And it might get you energized to do homework later. Like after a nice warm shower and some Gatorade. Try out these different ways and see what works best for you. I usually just worked out after school though.
Btw it's great that you're working out already by yourself in high school. Not many kids follow through with that. Good luck.
