Question: Okay to put this out there i'm a 13 year old girl with a 10 year old little sister who acts like a little lady. She is girly and is still into barbies a little bit (Even I play with her sometimes). She has 2 pairs of high heels and wears makeup and talks the right way. She HATES Justin Bieber (Giving him death threats and crap lol) She HATES Selena Gomez. She is into Good Charlotte and Adele and all the hits. I know it's still August, but I need to know what she wants before Dec. rolls around when I start shopping for the rest of my huge family. My parents also need to know. She wears makeup (Only allowed to wear it at home) and she is going to get her ears pierced around Xmas time. She has curly hair and stuff. She already has the sims 2 and sims 3. She is very active but unfortunately since we live in an apartment in the city with NO YARD, we cannot get her stuff that requires the outdoors. My sister LOVES to cook, already onto making eggs for herself on the stove and baking cookies in the oven. So I don't know me and my parents need to know. She is getting a cell for 6th grade next month, has a wii and Nitendo DS. And don't say "Oh it's only August." Well I know that! But I need to start saving up so I can buy for her early. I hate going to the mall in December! Twighlight is out, because she said it's stupid and lame. Myself being 13 has a lot of stuff in her hands. Thanks for helping Y!A Don't be sarcastic and stupid please!

What about an Adele cd or a gift card to her favorite store, or what about some more makeup everyone likes a fresh stick of eyeliner that wont poke your eye out right? What about a new pair of high heels?

Marii: Regardless of whether or not you used financial aid this year, you would still (always) apply for financial aid every year that you'll need it. Each FAFSA is for one academic year - running from the Fall Semester, through the Spring Semester, and ending in the Summer Semesters. The FAFSA application that's available at the website right now can only be used to apply for aid for the 2008-2009 school year - ending some time around July 2009. If you'll be looking for financial aid for the upcoming Spring or Summer semesters, that's the one you need to complete. On the other hand, if you intend to begin school starting with the Fall Semester of 2009 (August or September of next year), you'll need to wait, and complete the 2009-2010 FAFSA, which is not yet available. That application will be released on or right around January 1st. At that time, both the 2008-2009 and the 2009-2010 FAFSAs will be available, so you'll need to make sure that you're completing the appropriate application. Your financial aid eligibility changes from year to year, based on your current financial circumstances. That's why you have to complete a new FAFSA every single year, so that the Department of Education can calculate a brand new Expected Family Contribution. The financial aid office at your school will determine your aid eligibility based on that year's EFC score. If your score goes up, you may be eligible for less aid - if your score goes down, you may be qualified for more. Each year, you will receive an aid offer letter from the financial aid department, letting you know what assistance they are able to offer you for the upcoming academic year. You'll need to respond to that letter, and accept or reject the various forms of assistance that you are offered. So - old aid offers - they're no longer available to you. If you'll return to school in the fall of next year, you'll need to wait and complete the 2009-2010 FAFSA when it becomes available in January. You'll continue to reapply for financial aid every year that you're in school - and that means a new FAFSA sometime around January, February or March each year. Good luck!

No. do no longer report now. you ought to report as quickly as attainable after January 1st 2009. you would be utilising the tax counsel of this three hundred and sixty 5 days (2008). Your FAFSA determines your EFC that's how plenty your loved ones could make a contribution. Your EFC is then subtracted out of your college's training. in case you have an EFC of 500 and your training value is $6000 then you fairly might get around $5500 from help, aspects, scholarships, etc. yet would be predicted to pay a minimum of (yet probably greater advantageous than) $500. The decrease your EFC the extra funds you will get besides the undeniable fact which you possibly won't get a unfastened journey. My EFC is 0 yet I nonetheless have approximately $4000 left to pay. q4 start up utilising to colleges and scholarships. In January or as quickly as attainable AFTER January be conscious for FAFSA. you will want your father and mom' tax records so tell them to get all of it achieved ASAP for you. shop utilising to scholarships. It takes a pair months on your FAFSA to be desperate and sent out on your colleges so do no longer agonize in case you don't get any instantaneous solutions.

Christmas 2011 -- Birth of a New Tradition As the holidays approach, the giant Asian factories are kicking into high gear to provide Americans with monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods -- merchandise that has been produced at the expense of American labor. This year will be different. This year Americans will give the gift of genuine concern for other Americans. There is no longer an excuse that, at gift giving time, nothing can be found that is produced by American hands. Yes there is! It's time to think outside the box, people. Who says a gift needs to fit in a shirt box, wrapped in Chinese produced wrapping paper? Everyone -- yes EVERYONE gets their hair cut. How about gift certificates from your local American hair salon or barber? Gym membership? It's appropriate for all ages who are thinking about some health improvement. Who wouldn't appreciate getting their car detailed? Small, American owned detail shops and car washes would love to sell you a gift certificate or a book of gift certificates. Are you one of those extravagant givers who think nothing of plonking down the Benjamines on a Chinese made flat-screen? Perhaps that grateful gift receiver would like his driveway sealed, or lawn mowed for the summer, or driveway plowed all winter, or games at the local golf course. There are a bazillion owner-run restaurants -- all offering gift certificates. And, if your intended isn't the fancy eatery sort, what about a half dozen breakfasts at the local breakfast joint. Remember, folks this isn't about big National chains -- this is about supporting your home town Americans with their financial lives on the line to keep their doors open. How many people couldn't use an oil change for their car, truck or motorcycle, done at a shop run by the American working guy? Thinking about a heartfelt gift for mom? Mom would LOVE the services of a local cleaning lady for a day. My computer could use a tune-up, and I KNOW I can find some young guy who is struggling to get his repair business up and running. OK, you were looking for something more personal. Local crafts people spin their own wool and knit them into scarves. They make jewelry, and pottery and beautiful wooden boxes. Plan your holiday outings at local, owner operated restaurants and leave your server a nice tip. And, how about going out to see a play or ballet at your hometown theatre. Musicians need love too, so find a venue showcasing local bands. Honestly, people, do you REALLY need to buy another ten thousand Chinese lights for the house? When you buy a five dollar string of light, about fifty cents stays in the community. If you have those kinds of bucks to burn, leave the mailman, trash guy or babysitter a nice BIG tip. You see, Christmas is no longer about draining American pockets so that China can build another glittering city. Christmas is now about caring about US, encouraging American small businesses to keep plugging away to follow their dreams. And, when we care about other Americans, we care about our communities, and the benefits come back to us in ways we couldn't imagine. THIS is the new American Christmas tradition.
