Question: Please feel free to provide manufacturer names, model numbers, other specifics. I am looking for a way to produce video and audio that would pass closely enough for theater-quality at the absolute cheapest cost.

Gee... The studios use Panavision, CineAlta, VariCam, Arri and a few others + all the lighting and sound gear and have LOTS of people who are skilled in using the equioipment - not to mention the army of people in post production that do the editing and all the sound design... then there's wardrobe and makeup and special effects and props and stunts and craft services and set design and building and the electricians and grips and administration and legal and and location scouting and site licenses and permits and security all the other stuff that goes into making a theatrical release... I guess you could replace the film cameras with those from Red or Silicon Imaging. Everything else needs to stay in place - plus you get to add the IT support crew and custom developed editors... You might even push a little and drop to the Sony XDCAM, HDCAM or Canon XLH series camcorders... but that's about as low as it gets... Sennheiser stereo shotgun and wireless lavaliere mics, DigiDesign ProTools. Rent the grip truck and staff (they will have various lighting stands and silks and clamps and all the stuff the grips use. Don't forget tripods, camera cranes, SteadiCam/Glidecam vest systems, insurance, camera dolly track systems, script and its "maintienance", storyboarding all the scenes, creatin the shot list, monitors, cases, lenses... better off renting much of this stuff and contracting the workers. And payroll services and computers and hard drive space for editing and music scoring and copyrighting... there's more, but this is a good start. The camera is a small (financial) part of the whole project. The productions do not want to waste money. They are on tight budgets. They continue to use the equipment they use for many reasons... mostly, because it works. If they could do it cheaper, they would because that means more money in their pocket. Have fun! Good luck!

Look around Sweetwater's site. You've asked what really should be several separate questions on here, so look at your options and ask more specific questions. While there are numerous kinds of "budget" equipment available, one thing to keep in mind is that decent speakers cost more than you might expect. Small, near-field monitors serve a purpose (which is to let you hear your tracks like how they might sound through a mediocre stereo), but you really need to hear your recordings through bigger, full-range speakers too, especially for mixing. If you plan to do just tracking at home and have someone else mix, you can spend less.

Federal regulation is lovely indistinct- however it may be used as "Home surveillance/safeguard" comparable to to become aware of the sitter or plumber while you're now not house... and to look at your spouse too. HOWEVER you'll NOT list the mobile with out telling EVERYONE that speaks on it that they're being recorded-- it's regarded to be an unlawful cord faucet. You additionally cannot tape sexual acts with out verbal or written consent (have got to be on tape for verbal) or positioned cameras in a room in which individuals dispose of their apparel (bed room/rest room) once more, is unlawful. Sounds like both you want marriage counseling, or have a few critical believe problems.... Before establishing the cameras- or atmosphere your self up for a divorce through a spouse who feels violated and that you don't believe her -- get a few support.

For making video and audio, you need to have multiple equipments. First of all, the most important thing you need to have a good quality camera and lens according to that. Then you could go for steadycam and stabilizers which would give your video a pro-look. Rest all the other equipments can be bought as and well they’ll be required. http://www.flycamshoppe.com/fc/FLYCAM-C5-Hand-Held-Camera-Stabilizer-with-Arm-Brace.html http://www.flycamshoppe.com/fc/FLYCAM-HD-5000-Video-Stabilizer-FREE-Table-Clamp-and-Quick-Release-Plate-FLCM-HD5-QT.html http://www.flycamshoppe.com/fc/CAMTREE-Wonder-7-WNDR-7.html

Sounds like the you could have a speaker or speaker wire shorting out. When this happens the internal amplifier goes in to "protect mode", cutting all output to the speakers. I would pull the deck from the dash and disconnect one speaker at a time with unit the on and playing. If you get sound after unplugging a speaker you've found your short. The other possible option is, of course, the unit has an internal component that is failing. A short or maybe weak solder joint inside the unit. With the price of decks now days it usually isn't worth repairing one. The best option in this case is a new unit.
