If you go to your videos, you will either see that your videos have failed to be uploaded. (( or if not they would say 'Live!' )) Or you have a video on 'private'. This is simple to change. Just find your video from the 'my videos' box under you name in the top right. At the bottom of your videos 'box' of options, it should say a list of things like annotations, edit, captions, etc. Click 'edit'. Then find the option to make it public, privat, or linked. Clikc public. Save and exit. Then it should be on your page!!! X3

People these days make the most pointless videos but they become popular because some people find it entertaining. You can just make random videos throughout your day of stuff you do with your friends or just something that you think is funny and interesting. Or you could do a webcast and talk about things that are going on but make it interesting and creative and unique. And when people research the topic your talking about your vid might pop up and they'll watch it. And you could even combine those two ideas and make like a story about you and what u like

I agree, you should just do what makes you happy! I personally had the same fears in the same situation and I just did it. If you fear about those you know seeing the videos, simply don't tell them. Just do what you love and have fun!

Just go for it!! If you don't start somewhere, you will always have regrets! You won't know how it'll work out until you try it for yourself. And I if you have enough motivation to do it that you actually practice making them then you should definitely do it! Most youtubers start off at least somewhat awkwardly but get better at making videos over time. And if you don't like how your videos turn out, or if they get tons of negative reception (which I highly doubt) then you can always delete them! So just try it out and I wish you the best of luck!
