How do I settle the Super Bowl bet I made?

How do I settle the Super Bowl bet I made? Topic: Case super m bucket
April 25, 2019 / By Adene
Question: I made a bet with my friends that I was so confident the Colts would win, I would kill myself if the Colts lost. Well, the joke's on me. Except they aren't taking it as a joke. Apparently, my friends aren't really my friends at all. They are giving me until 9 p.m. (Central Time) Monday to kick the bucket. I mean, I thought they knew I was just joking, and I guess I thought it was kinda weird that they made me shake on my wager, but they are saying that a bet is a bet. What do I do? How should I do it? It has become very evident to me by this point that they are not kidding. I don't know what they'll do if I don't do it. I know one of my friends knows a guy with several vicious pit bulls, so I am thinking they might kill me and make it look like an accident. If that's the case, maybe I'm just better off killing myself painlessly, right? I'm just torn to shreds right now, someone help me find a way to get this over with, without too much suffering. Oh, well, yeah there was the wager that if the Colts won, I could destroy one of my "friend's" Drew Brees Fathead (I think that's what it's called, it's a life-sized wall sticker) in any method of my choosing (personally, I was gonna let my dogs use it as a potty training pad)

I think you should invite them over tomorrow night to collect your body. Rig it so it looks like you blew your brains out. Get some calf brains from a butcher shop, and a bunch of ketchup. Splatter it all over yourself and the wall. Put some sort of toy gun in your hand. Call them and speak frantically. Tell them, "THIS IS IT!!!", and then set off some sort of loud explosion. When they come over, they will flip out seeing what will appear to be your blown out brains! If you do it well enough, I think they will appreciate your joke well enough! If you've got any "special effects" connections, they might be able to help you set it up.

Yeah, I believe it is going to be boring. The saints got lucky to even be here, and the colts are overrated if you ask me. I think the nfc championship featured better teams than the super bowl this year. The colts offense I believe is overrated, and the saints have played bad since the middle of the season(with the exception of the Arizona game). The Saints may be a number one seed, but that doen't mean they were the best team in the nfc. I believe that anyone who actually watched all the playoff games this year would agree. Also, nothing changes the fact that the Vikings got robbed from being there.

Well, then by essentially using your logic, the Super Bowl should actually be the Chargers vs. the Vikings. If you believe that the Vikings were the more deserving team, but shot themselves in the foot, then the same must be true of the Chargers, who basically did the same thing against the Jets, and therefore would have played the Colts in the AFC title game. A team that they have beaten 2 straight years in the playoffs and 4 of the last 6 times they've played. So it would have been more likely that the Chargers would have won that game. But that's all just speculation. The last 2 years the Super Bowl was supposed to be a blowout and it wasn't, what makes this year any different.

No way and it really amazes me when I talk to people who feel as you do. The Colts and Saints are two number one seeds. It rarely happens that two top seeds play each other in the SB. Number two, the amount of offense should be enough to keep even mild NFL fans entertained. On top of that, you have the great story of New Orleans and the Saints. I think this is the best possible game you could get as an NFL fan.

I'll assume this is a joke, so I'll just say that no legal wager can be made with death on the line, so don't sweat it. What were you getting if the Colts won? If you weren't winning anything, then you didn't make a bet.

I don't know the odds, then or now. But when the Rams first came to St. Louis in the mid 90's, the standing joke wasn't did the Rams win or lose, it was no question, it was 'how much did they lose by'. Then a promising young quarterback, Trent Green had some kind of injury. A guy I knew who loved football and knew a lot about the Rams, when I asked who the back-up quarterback was, he said, "Oh, I can't think of his name, Wagner, Werner, something German sounding." Somebody else said Kurt Warner and told how he had been a grocery store clerk and had played in Europe. I did not have a lot of hope, but it sounded like a great story, just in case. It did not sound promising. But guess what! Miracles could still happen, all we need is another Kurt Warner and/or Marshall Faulk!

Yes, they were 400 to 1 longshots. They really need a ton of help. Either that or Kurt Warner to come out of retirement and play for them again.
