When you think of suicide, what thing can you do to "distract" yourself from it? Topic: Different kinds of writing activities

Question: I'm about to be 18 in August. I live with my fiance. And he is amazing. I love him so much. He does everything I could ever ask him for, and he is super supportive through everything. When I'm in my depressed mood, he tries everything to bring me out of it. Since Saturday, I've been completely depressed. And I think it's because my fiance's son was with us. Me and him have been trying to conceive & I've had 2 miscarriges.. Everytime I get depressed it's like I think of more and more things to make me more depressed. Then I start thinking about suicide, and I don't know.. Just want tips for when I start to feel like this. . . Please don't say, go see a therapist, bc I do. And please don't say get depression meds, bc I refuse them! Thanks in advance.

If you can't draw, color something in, like in a coloring book, even if that sounds silly. Or you could write. This one is weird.. Wrap tape around tape and make shapes. I do it all the time. Just keep wrapping tape around other pieces of tape until it gets really fat, it's something that keeps me occupied in school. You could erase, find a big eraser and just erase it until it turns into nothing. Or you could doodle, draw a square, draw lines that go in and out of the square, and draw simple designs in the spaces. It really zones me out, and you don't even have to be very good at drawing. But promise me you won't do anything you regret, I'm here to talk if you need it. (616) 802 7343 or [email protected]

so it's kinda hard when you've been affected by the loss of interest in activities side of depression, but try to force yourself to do the things you used to like, and maybe you will remember why you liked them? personally, i love a good film. you can get really into it. :) tv can be very mind numbingly boring these days. go to your local supermarket, they usually have tonnes of cheap films, rather than going to an actual dvd shop. also, what about sports? i dont know what sports youre interested in so i'll leave that up to you to ponder. hope youre ok :)
