so what's the question? You want someone to write your paper ;) There are different themes in the movie, such as the way Jenny lives her live vs. how Forrest lives his live (more orderly and conservative). For the second paper, I am assuming that your teacher means news type stuff. So how can you relate what happened in the world to what is going on in your life now. For example in the 1998 Olympics snowboarding debut as a discipline, this could have led someone to discover a love for this sport. I mean this probably doesn't apply to you but check out Wikipedia.com for example and look at different years and events that happened and how you can relate it to how these events impacted you. Good Luck

yes there is a sequel to forrest gump in the works The screenplay for the sequel was written by Eric Roth in 2001. It is based on the original novel's sequel, Gump and Co. that was written by Winston Groom in 1995. Roth's script begins with Forrest sitting on a bench waiting for his son to return from school. After the September 11 attacks, Roth, Zemeckis, and Hanks decided the story was no longer "relevant."[93] In March 2007, however, it was reported that Paramount producers took another look at the screenplay.[94] In the very first page of the sequel novel, Forrest Gump tells readers "Don't never let nobody make a movie of your life's story," though "Whether they get it right or wrong, it don't matter."[95] The first chapter of the book suggests that the real-life events surrounding the film have been incorporated into Forrest's storyline, and that Forrest got a lot of media attention as a result of the film.[17] During the course of the sequel novel, Gump runs into Tom Hanks and at the end of the novel is the film's release, including Gump going on The David Letterman Show and attending the Academy Awards. It is mentioned Hanks plays Gump, and Forrest seems to have a positive view of the film. The film was mentioned in Cecil B. Demented, a John Waters film. In Cecil, there was a planned sequel for Forrest Gump called Forrest Gump, Gump Again.

This Site Might Help You. RE: Is there going to be a movie based on Gump& Company, the sequel to the book, Forrest Gump? I heard Winston Groom had refused them the rights after how they changed the original Forrest Gump in the transition between book and movie, but now in Wikipedia I read that a movie version of Gump & Company is in the works; which is true?

I'm sure you'll do fine. You have a little Forrest Gump in you, apparently, since you failed to ask any question here. My answer would be, grades are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.

This sounds like a HW question to me, so I'm just going to give you a few IDEAS instead of writing it for you. It's a good thing I love this movie so much :) Freedom and Rights: The 70's were a progressive time, and there were multiple protests on the Vietnam War. This ties in with the first amendment: Freedom of Speech. Forrest and Jenny partake in one of these rallies. Also look into the Black Panther Party. Equality: Forrest's mother didn't want her son to be treated any differently because of his IQ. Reason: Lt. Dan. He wished to die instead of live, but Forrest could not leave him behind. Isolation: Forrest goes on a long run (initially alone) and Jenny runs away from Forrest on several occasions Master of the Earth: This is Forrest. He runs across the country and survives a hurricane in the S.S. Jenny Godlessness: Forrest always takes the high road while Jenny is more subjective to the times. As a result, Forrest does the right thing like keeping promises to friends (Bubba) and putting others before himself (Carrying soldiers away in Vietnam).

yeah, i thought so too. In the book, at the end, its really sad because Jenny marries someone else. I guess the director wanted a happier movie. Forrest was just a tissue for Jenny
