I need a name for my character? Topic: Good boy names for writing a book
July 17, 2019 / By Aidan
Question: So, I'm writing a book about a girl who is taken from her home and offered as a servant to a superhuman Nordic-like boy in payment for a debt the girls father, the human king, never settled with the Talkia, the Nordic-like race. I won't go into detail about the book, but I need names that are ancient, and industrial, but not common. Cheers!

I often have a hard time choosing names (as a writer), as well. I'll just give you my solution- http://www.behindthename.com/ It's a website for names, and their meanings. They usually have a pretty good variety of unique names. (Plus, you get to be all sneaky and use names with special meanings).

I can only think of disrepute as an antonym. The quote means that showing courage and sticking to your guns in the face of danger or dispute builds your character (moral and ethical foundation).

if you go through something difficult to do, follow through, you will learn from it and your character will be made better.

OMG!! WE ARE WORKING ON THE BOOK TOO, we started our essays today xD Slim is more of a static character. John Steinbeck gives alot of adverbs of how he speaks to Lennie and George "in a godlike manner""his voice invited confidence" (you'll find the quotes halfway through the book when they get to the ranch) :D Hope this helps ya loads xD
