I have a lot of hobbies and i need help balancing them out? Topic: My first time i love homework
June 17, 2019 / By Azariah
Question: I love to sing, read, colorguard, paint/draw, and play guitar. I don't have a schedule, and I fail every time I try to make one. I wouldn't want to give up any one of these hobbies but I need to study so I can keep my grades up as well. What should I do to ensure that I can still do all of the things I love?

First do your homework (of course!) and then any day you have extra time available pick ONE of your hobbies - the one you most feel like doing that day - to spend time on. Just pick one per day. Otherwise you might just spend all your time spinning and not have any time for any hobby at all. (I don't need any new hobbies either!)

You sound like a "generalist" but an undisciplined, unorganized one. You need to find a way to be aware of the time you have (and how easily it can slip away) and plan accordingly in some way that works for you (plus learn to stick to the plan in the moment). People vary, so they figure out different ways to do that--that's the chore for you, to figure out what works for *you.* Learning to handle time, responsibilities, pleasures, and oneself in general, is one of the "jobs" of being a human being, and especially as one grows out of being a child. https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+m... https://www.google.com/search?q=time+man... https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+m... https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+balance+time+work+school There's more about being a generalist btw in my previous answer here, if you're interested: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120806032427AAMPtO8 and maybe these: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061215084652AAaHu8b http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20091221054857AAhBa1k .

The balance is up to you, figure out your favorite thing to do! Or simply do your homework first or w.e then do them all.

Instead of looking for your "passion" why not make a list of things that you "Like" or are interested in and go from there. The library is a great place to find Informationn on just about anything. I used to do independentt research projects (pre-internet) at the library. I was curious about the POP ART movement in the sixties, found all kinds of books about it at the library and used it later for school. dave
