Looking for help in regards how to setup an articles section vs blogs/forums? Topic: Website articles
May 23, 2019 / By Chalice
Question: Hi, Currently, on my website I have installed both an articles and forums section. However, I worry about double content being posted on both ends. Also, trying to understand the difference between articles and forums and/or blogs. How should I setup my articles and forums? Should I keep the artictles as a section where information related to sports is posted and on the forums where trade rumors are posted and talked about? Trying to get ideas.

Since you did not post the url of your site I can only guess. Articles are usually 400 words or more not forum posts. Forum posts are usually short. Therefore there should not be any duplicate content. But you could compile forum posts into articles and post them in article directories to bring traffic to your websites. Of course you can always delete any post or article which you consider a duplicate as you own the site. Blogs are interesting to post short excerpts that link to the full article. Also it easy to add articles as it is done online. RSS feeds are created automatically which gets you indexed in teh search engines fast.

You would need to use the free Wordpress or Blogger site if you wanted to write articles using the templates or even your own template. If you have paid hosting, you already have WordPress ready to install. You have to log into your account and use the Control Panel (cPanel) to install it. Then you use the Dashboard to edit. If you have a free web site, you need to check if you are allowed to use PHP and a database as these will be needed for a true blog app like WordPress. Or, you might want to use sites like this: https://contributor.yahoo.com/signup.shtml Ron

The only thing you need to do is try to find some themes or even plugins that called "cms theme" or "article plugins" which can let your wordpress looks like a cms or article website. just try to search the wordpress theme with the keyword CMS and you will find some!

My opinion is that something offered via cato isn't well worth examining. EDIT: cato is maximum rather *not* "self reliant". ""The Cato Institute is a libertarian think of tank regularly occurring in Washington, D.C. It replace into based in 1977 via Edward H. Crane, who maintains to be president and CEO, and Charles Koch, chairman of the board and chief govt officer of the oil conglomerate Koch Industries, Inc., the 2nd best privately held business enterprise (after Cargill) via gross sales interior usa of america."" Koch? heavily? and you have have been given the gall to place up their hyperlink as "authentic?" too humorous

I would go with a 850 watt or around that, depending on your cooling and what you plan on connecting to the computer otherwise. Regarding cooling, I think case fans would suffice for your setup. You might consider heat sinks for your memory and a fan for your video card. More fans mean more noise, which bothers a lot of people. I usually just stick as many fans as i can fit without making a mess. More open air means more cooling as well. You can cable wires to the case and maximize your air flow. Get a case you like (aesthetically), that supports your MB and PSU size, and you ought to be fine. Good luck on your first build and be sure to let us know how it goes.

It reccomend you get a corsair Power supply with at least 650 watts so you have headroom to sli those 550 ti's later . But no less than 500 watts from a quality company ( corsair , antec ,pc power and cooling , seasonic , and strangely enough xfx .
